….but there is something deeper at work here. I’m not a christian, nor do I believe in american exceptionalism, nor am I unconflicted over the abortion issue.
I do however believe in gun rights, no government, logic, moral, history, freedom, human progress and peace.
So, I guess I sort of wish I could be at that religious cuckoo-fest (Bloomberg), because it seems that a lot of likeminded people will probably be there.
And even a non-believer like myself could probably benefit from the occasional encounter with god*.
*My apologiez, the higher powers just told me they wish it to be spelled God, with a capital G-g-gehova.
The underlaying theme (if there is one, and, I could be so bold to issue it), is returning back to the common ladder that was created, where they people sat at the top, with local governance next, and national governance coming last. We’ve seen it reversed in the last century.
And, to add to it, make governance remember they are beholden to its citizenry, not reverse. Our self determination comes from our hands, hearts, and free will, not by a 10×20 mile stretch of reclaimed swamp and power hungry inhabitants bent on returning the citizenry to serfdom.
Beck is taking an awful risk doing this, but what other avenues are available? The only other one is too destructive and would cause far more issues.
I sort of agree. Credit to Beck for taking the risks he does. He will be misinterpreted, hated and scorned. But he will teach a large amount of people something they need to remember the coming years.
God, what an awful spectacle they have made of modern society. Buckle up, thats all that remains to be said.
