Swedens largest econ-blogger went out today and pointed out that Russia Today is a government owned network, and thus highly biased towards apologizing for the Russian regime. Well, in a word, duh.
The reason some of us (me too) watch Russia Today is because they let people who are not allowed on Western mainstream media outlets on. That doesn’t mean that RT is unbiased. ALL media is biased, because there is no free journalism anymore. Don’t kid yourself. In the US, there are basically two things you can watch – Jon Stewart, and the Onion. Yes, it’s that bad. In Sweden, well there is uh…..nothing? Pretty much.
