The only interesting analysis of the Obama-Ooops!-Yay-Romney!-debate (which I didn’t watch, and can thus only meta-analyse from secondary media sources) comes from Takimag, entitled “Death of the Obamabots”. Why do I like it? Because it spends exactly zero seconds cheering on Romney, and simply points out that the halo seems to be fading from the Messiah President of ’08.
Now, I am fairly certain, as most other commentators, that Barry will bring on the Class War aspect in the next debate. I won’t watch that either. I will however be on the lookout for any review of it which I can read in less than five minutes and which doesn’t induce acute nausea. I will probably be disappointed.
Some people are arguing that Obama is, for some reason, giving away his second term. Others are arguing that Obama simply isn’t being given the Messiah treatment from the media this time, and will unfortunately not be able to rely on the good ol’ Teleprompter when debating Romney. But whatever is actually happening, I am hoping both candidates will continue to show us how politics is just a game of buying votes. On that front, Romney clearly won first round.
