Facing the possibility that President Obama might not win a second term, his administration accelerated work in the weeks before the election to develop explicit rules for the targeted killing of terrorists by unmanned drones, so that a new president would inherit clear standards and procedures, according to two administration officials.
The matter may have lost some urgency after Nov. 6.

I heard Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich have been considering running for the Republican nomination in 2016 and some of the Republicans have been considering Jeb Bush. Unbelievable. All the Goldwater conservatives, Pat Buchanans, Rand/Ron Pauls, moderates, real capitalists, and centre-right members of the GOP need to jump ship now and form a new conservative party before it’s too late.
