The US is more socialist than Sweden

According to this statistic, I am very strongly leaning against the conclusion that the US is more socialist than Sweden. Single mom with $29,000 gross income gets …. $57,327 in net income??!? Thats pretty HEAVY negative taxation….

As an American, I can believe that. I work in a smaller city but resent driving by the new public housing that looks like any nice apartment town home and see the cars with the pimp’in chrome rims and low profile tires worth as much or more than the car they are on. Grrrrr!!!!

Yeah, at least our welfare class isn’t more well off than those paying for them. For the most part.

I suspect that there might eventually be a revolt in the US against “welfare queens” and the like, something that sure won’t happen here.

  2. Also the US is a warfare state which is the major slippery slope for increasing government growth & power as we have witnessed and will witness the years ahead. Sweden has it flaws but I do appreciate that it has no imperialist and significant warfare ambitions.
